A View of the Last Few Weeks

PBJ at the only mall we could find Peanut Butter about an hour from our homes. Helping out with a local playgroup, and a picnic on the mountain.

A day hike to the top of Panderman Mountain. It took a group of us about 6 hours to get up and down. The top was nothing but clouds and a few monkeys. The trail was very steep and sometimes felt nonexistent and it was really cool to see locals hanging out at the top.

Lastly, a Sunday in our village where I scared a little boy, went to a wedding, we explored the tunnel network (apparently built by the Japanese during WWII), walked the village at night, and Paige played cards with Rifa.

With time we have explored and experienced as much as I think was possible in 3 months, and we will miss our host families from the beautiful village of Tlekung.
